Welcome to Big Shawn’s Painting. After completing a seemingly infinite number of residential, commercial, interior, and exterior painting jobs, what we’ve learned is that what matters most is value and doing a quality job at an affordable and fair price. My father and I opened the company back in 2007. In 2014 unfortunately my father passed away. So, I decided to name the company after my father Shawn McCluskey. Hence the name Big Shawn’s Painting. Great guy, people loved him, he loved people. A great painter he taught me everything I know. Since I was 16, I have been in the painting field. I’m going on over 25 years’ experience and 14 years of running a company. We know how to overcome obstacles and get the job done right. We take great pride in what we do. Just had my house painted yesterday and I'm pleased and impressed by their system. My crew was Jesse and Mike who are excellent and also perpetual motion machines. They wrapped every window, door, wire, faucet, light etc. The prep may seem like it's taking a long time but it makes the painting go super fast and the final product is perfect. They sprayed a thick base of paint then rolled, then brushed it in well. When the frist pass was made around the house they followed with a second pass of a light mist of paint which put a great finish on the job.It looks great and I'm pleased with price. Scott is solid and a great communicator. He answers all questions immediately.So glad I gave them a try.

The team did an AMAZING job on my house. It had old aluminum siding and as I couldn’t afford the 25k bill to replace the old PINK siding with vinyl they made the house look brand new within a day and a half! I’ve already gotten compliments from neighbors and will be referring them to everyone I can. Scot and team even walked me through afterwards to show where they painted the soffits, trim and even replaced corner pieces that I had ordered. Scott came out to give me an estimate. I usually get two. He was so reasonable i immediately went with his quote. His workers were outstanding. Mike patched the walls and cracks and Shawn and Jesse did the painting. In less than a day and a half they painted the whole interior of my home. They were so well coordinated in what each others job entailed. They were quick, neat and didn’t even take breaks. Workers like that are hard to find. They were all awesome. Had Big Shawn’s paint our living, dining, office and front hall painted. By far the most reasonable of all estimates. Scott the owner came and explained what would be done and what to expect. He sent a detailed estimate that covered everything along the way - preparation, sanding, how many coats. Very pleased with work. Front hall had extensive water damage that they expertly fixed. The prep work for whole job was done very well - filled all nail holes and stress cracks and now my walls look brand new. Final paint colors look fantastic- no steaks or bleed through from previous colors. I love my smooth, perfectly painted walls! When they were all through they vacuumed and put furniture back where it belonged. All furniture was covered and protected well. Could not have had a better experience! Extremely quick response time and was able to scope job with just some pictures and a few self measurements. I hired Big Shawns to paint the exterior of my house based on all the positive word of mouth they have received. During the Tonawanda garden walk I asked any home owners that looked like they had fresh work done on their exterior, "Who did you use?". Over and over, I got the same answer, Big Shawns Custom Painting. Their price wasn't the cheapest but considering the results I saw at all of these different houses, I went with them. I could not be more pleased with their work and professionalism. In all fairness I have a smaller house, but the Big Shawns crew was able to paint the entire exterior and trim in just 1 day. This far exceeded my most optimistic timeline! Upon completion, we did a final walk around and they cleaned up each and every spot that concerned me to make sure that I was happy. Big Shawns is a company that cares about quality and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to any one!

Great company! This crew's thorough approach and attention to detail blew me away. Dan, Justin, and Brian did not cut corners. They persisted in the hard work that other crews might have wimped out on. Our home went from the color of dust to a beautiful jewel green. Clean, straight edges all over. My husband and I chose Big Shawn's once I saw their crew painting our next door neighbor's house. Scott and his crew are AWESOME!!!! They explained everything thoroughly about painting vinyl siding. They power washed my siding the night before then came prepped and painted in one day. My house looks soooo good you are crazy not to use big Shawn's custom painting!! The price was 1/3 the cost of new siding cause I got estimates and it looks brand new!!!! I couldnt be happier!!!! My family and I relocated from another state for a new job opportunity. We bought a home that we wanted to update by removing the popcorn ceilings throughout and changing all of the paint colors. We had three weeks from closing to moving in. Not being familiar with this area, I googled best painters in Buffalo and each time Big Shawn's Custom Painting was always at the top of the list. So I reached out to Scott to set up an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time for our scheduled meeting and by the end of the evening I had a complete estimate in my email. After reviewing, we decided to go with Big Shawn. Scott immediately put us on his calendar. This was a huge job because we were removing popcorn ceiling in every room, over 3300 square feet. His team lead by Nick did an amazing job with removing the old ceiling and painting all of the rooms and trim. The crew worked very hard to meet the time schedule. Scott kept me up to date with the progress while we were traveling back and forth. Whenever I texted him he always responded.
